Counteract’s Greg Harris Featured by Bush Presidential Center

APRIL 30, 2026 – Counteract International Executive Director Greg Harris was recently featured in the George W. Bush Presidential Center’s “Five Questions With…” series. In the interview, he reflects on lessons learned from public service, juvenile justice, and more than a decade working with a team that serves incarcerated youth in in El Salvador, Guatemala, and Honduras.

The interview also highlights the recently released book, COUNTERACT: Walking Alongside Incarcerated Youth in Central America from Prison to Purpose. The book explores the importance of faith and presence in helping at-risk youth build a different future — and how everyone can play a role.
