Celebrating Success Academy Graduations in Honduras

Success Academy Graduation

Three Honduras Detention Centers Hold Graduation Ceremonies

Over the past two weeks, 43 young men and women graduated from the Success Academy in three of the four detention centers where Counteract serves in Honduras. Each graduation marked months of learning, personal growth, and a deeper understanding of God’s love. During the ceremonies, many graduates expressed heartfelt appreciation for the Counteract team, sharing how the staff’s patience, consistency, and genuine care made a lasting difference in their lives.

These graduations also recognize the extraordinary commitment of our Success Academy facilitators. Their role extends far beyond the classroom. More than just teachers, they are mentors who walk alongside each young person throughout their entire detention process with patience, genuine care, and love. Each day, they listen, encourage, counsel, and pray with the youth entrusted to their care. They invest time in understanding every story, identifying each student’s God-given abilities, and helping them see that their lives have value and purpose in Christ.

We thank God for each graduate and for the faithful men and women who continue walking alongside these young people every day.
